Hm, did something epically terrible happen to you? Were you caught in a forest fire? Did an earthquake strike through your home? Break your hand? Twist ankle? I mean, SOMETHING must have happened for you to be nearly two years behind on updates...
Not a great way to keep readers, but you probably don't care about that anyway. Ehh, most likely I'll check this comic every once in a while. I won't desert it just yet...
